As educating the hunting public is a founding pillar of our organization, our website will feature, in the coming months, an extensive video library of tips from our professional competitors, articles from industry insiders, and a forum for members to discuss, share and debate everything from the happenings on TV to their local rut phase.

What We Believe.

We are devoted sportsmen who believe hunters and fishermen drive the vehicles of conservation, habitat enhancement and wildlife management in America. We believe in the right to hunt, fish and harvest game. And we believe that hunting is a national pastime founded on necessity, family, friends… and fun.

Part of the fun takes place every year in deer camps across the country. It’s pure competition. Bragging rights, friendly wagers — whatever the stakes: whoever bags the heaviest buck, the one with the biggest rack or simply the first deer wins. It’s a tradition as old as hunting itself. And we’re taking it to the next level.

Through the AWA Whitetail Pro Series, we’re putting the best hunters in the country together to determine exactly who is the most knowledgeable and capable sportsman. Instead of a single encounter with a big buck, our event rewards consistency. After all, multiple encounters with several mature deer is a better judge of a quality hunter.

While this competition allows us to single out the best hunter, it also legitimizes the tactics participants use and the advice they give.
